2 years agoProfessional, punctual, polite and efficient service from Anthony. Thank your for your help. I had a visitors from Alberta during that unfortunate event and it would have been a disaster not able to use the kitchen sink. So thank you wrench it up team for saving the day.

10 months agoWe have used Wrench it Up on a few occasion and have been satisfied every time. Today's plumber was Alex, he was very professional and got the job done. Thank you for another great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

a year agoWrench It Up Plumbing's plumbers are courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive to client needs. Following a thorough safety inspection, Matt Carson provided multiple options for additional action. He was informed and offered us long-term solutions to our heating issues. I valued the extra time you spent reviewing the steps taken throughout the service as well as the time you spent carefully going over the invoice that was sent following the service. When my furnace breaks down or needs regular repair, I'll use this service again.

2 years agoI wouldn’t go back to them. I while back my in-laws hired Matt C from “Wrench it up Plumbing” because my mother’n’law’s tub faucet was leaking (she’s a Senior), he recommended to change it from the old hot/cold knobs to a single faucet system, he even sold her the MOEN faucet unit and said that will fix the problem. He opened up the wall, installed the new pipes to accommodate the new faucet and that was it. $800.00 (no idea if it fixes the leak) and left. I had to watch YouTube to learn how to install drywall, install new tiles and the MOEN unit. Top it off, the MOEN unit (which he sold us) didn’t fit properly and found out from Home Depot that the plumber didn’t install the pipes to code to fit the new faucet. I had to break the tiles & drywall again, have him comeback to re-size it to fit properly, then I re-drywall & re-tile. It now fits but it isn’t even flush or plumb because I'm not a plumber and no idea if its correct or not (I have the photos & video to prove it from start to finish). I get that you might not do bathroom drywall/tile work, but this is where communication comes in as to who will do this, and as the plumber, you should be doing the faucet installation and not leave it to a Retiree to do it. These guys aren’t worth it. I’m a former “tin-knocker” and these guys give plumbing a bad name.

9 months agoWriting a review for our experience in March 2024 involving a leaking tub faucet we called this company to fix. For context, we live in a high rise and noticed the tub faucet start to leak. The person whom I spoke on the phone with arranged to have one of their workers named "Ethan" to come and take a look the following day. When Ethan arrived. I was surprised to see an apprentice show up when there was no mention of an apprentice. I agree because my faucet is leaking and I need it fixed so we go up to my unit. Long story short, Ethan and his apprentice spent 3 hours there and were not able to fix the problem. Rather, our tub faucet was leaking worse after Ethan worked on it. Ethan suggested that our only solution is to do a mini-renovation, where he would have to drill into the tiles of the wall and install a whole new system. Ethan said he would have to arrange this work with someone else who had a special tool. Further, Ethan mentioned that however much amount we paid on that day for his "service" (around $600) that amount would go towards the mini-renovation (totalling $1800). We asked if he can at least reverse it to what it was before because it was actually leaking less before he had worked on it. Ethan and his apprentice agreed to work on it one more time but both came to the conclusion that this mini-renovation was required. The best part is,, his apprentice was holding two plastic buckets side by side and he managed to scratch and dent the doorframe on the way out. So after about a total of 3 hours of trying to "fix" our problem and teach his apprentice at the same time our leak is worse and I am out $600. I became very skeptical at this point and asked the condo management company. Once I had explained Ethan's suggestion to the building manager, he said that no one has had to complete such mini-renovation and provided me a recommendation for another plumber for a second opinion. Miraculously, the other plumber came and fixed the problem within 30 minutes, without having to do a mini-renovation. So if you have read this far, I appreciate your time in reading this. My take home points are: 1) if Ethan ever makes a recommendation to do a mini-renovation as opposed to fix a leaking tub faucet, please seek a second opinion. Especially if Ethan is making it seems like he is doing you a favour by contributing whatever was paid during that visit towards this mini-renovation. I also misdialed Ethan accidentally when trying to delete his contact number and he had a very cheeky response that I have taken a screenshot of. 2) Use a Credit Card in case you need to charge back. The owner of the company (I think his name is Mike) was reasonable but he tried to argue that his guys were a) there for 3 hours and b) deserve a chance to make it right. I was dumbfounded that he made that argument because yes your guys spent 3 hours... but they made it worse AND mislead us to do some mini-renovation. It wasn't until I told him that he either gives me a full refund or he deals with the credit card company that they finally provided a full refund.
